New KTTT NewspaperThe Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas has recently published their first newspaper. This newspaper is distributed to all tribal members and is full of great information and history about the Tribe.

Kickapoo Empire LLC Recieves HUBZone Certification!We are very excited to announce that the SBA has given Kickapoo Empire LLC its HUBZone certification! Riverpark Subdivision Water & Sewer Phase 1Kickapoo Empire LLC is very proud to announce the completion of Phase 1 Riverpark Subdivision Water and Sewer Project. This project was a complete success for Kickapoo Empire and the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas not only because of the outstanding feedback we received from inspectors but also because 5 of the 7 team that was used for the installation were Tribal members and 4 of those members had never worked in the Underground Utilities field before. Kickapoo Empire Completes DomeKickapoo Empire has completed the Lucky Eagle Casino Dome roofing project.
I/O Cabling on 2nd Randolph ProjectThe Inside/Outside Cabling Division hasn't slowed down, picking up their next project at Randolph Air Force Base. This job, in Building 863, consisted on removing 36 cables going to an IDF. They removed the IDF's equipment, and relocated it to the MDF. They also pulled 36 data cables from the MDF to the locations that were being fed by the IDF. And, they removed and disposed of all the old cabling from the IDF. They began May 21st, and finished on schedule, on May 28th. Can't slow these folks down! Way to Go! I/O Cabling's Awarded 2nd Project at Ft. SamInside/Outside Cabling started their 2nd project at Fort Sam, in the Youth Center on May 6th. They will be pulling 1500 feet of 12 strand Single mode Cable from the Youth Center, into 3 hand holes, 1 man hole, and into the Central Office for termination. They will also pull 600 feet of 50 pair cable from the building, through 3 hand holes, into a manhole, to be spiliced into an existing cable, installing a new splice case. I/O Cabling at Randolph AFBInside/Outside Cabling recently installed Five Cat 6 Cables for the new Employee Computers at the Randolph Air Force Base Youth Center. BuildingInside/Outside Cabling has picked up another project at Ft. Sam Houston, this time working in the Physical Education Building, pulling 50 pair copper cable and a 6 strand single-mode cable from Building 323, through 3 manholes, into building 325. they then terminated both ends, and completed the job testing. The total run was approximately 1600 feet on each Cable. Another Super Job for our folks at I/O Cabling! Kickapoo Empire's Cabling Department Wins Lackland AFB Emergency Broadcast System!Kickapoo Empire's cabling department was awarded a subcontract by JAMCO Ventures to work with ATI Systems. We installed approximately 825 new speakers (COTS) in 3 buildings located on the base as per the provided prints and specifications for the new PA/EBS system. We also installed all speaker and horn (backbone and distribution) as well as uninstalling all of the old speakers and associated ancillary products (cabling etc.) of the new PA/EBS system. Kickapoo Empire LLC Wins Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Bingo HallThe Kickapoo Gaming Authority along with the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas, awarded Kickapoo Empire LLC the Bingo Hall Project. The new 15,000 square foot Bingo Hall will be an extension to the Lucky Eagle Casino. The new Bingo Hall will feature the newest, state-of-the-art Bingo technologies with a 3-Star Dining Facility. The roadway will start form El Indio Highway and end at the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino. The road will be approximately 3.5 miles long and the project will need to be completed in 120 days. The new venture will be called Kickapoo Empire LLC. Kickapoo Empire will be responsible for construction and technology projects for the Tribe. Tribal Council has hire Mr. Johnny Sapia as the Chief Operating Officer for the new business venture. Mr. Sapia brings with him 35 years of business experience dealing with government and commercial business. |
